Riverina EEC can provide support to local schools to enhance your local depth study. Students can undertake a practical and secondary-sourced investigation to develop an evidence-based judgement on the understanding of a local River Red Gum ecosystem.

Depth study components can include:

  • investigate relationships through abiotic and biotic fieldwork
  • changes in populations due to selection pressures over time
  • examination of adaptions of organisms to increase their ability to survive
  • how human activity can impact an ecosystem
  • virtual excursion support via a google site
