Box Gum Grassy Woodland Ecosystem Depth Study
Riverina EEC can provide support to local schools to enhance your local depth study. Students can undertake a practical and secondary-sourced investigation to develop an evidence-based judgement on the understanding of a local River Red Gum ecosystem or other local ecosystems.
Depth study components can include:
- investigate relationships through abiotic and biotic fieldwork
- changes in populations due to selection pressures over time
- examination of adaptions of organisms to increase their ability to survive
- how human activity can impact an ecosystem
- virtual excursion support via a google site
